In our world, individuals find themselves living in symbiosis with their own emotional states.
These emotions take advantage of the human body like parasites, sometimes coexisting peacefully and other times seizing control, turning the host body into a puppet.
This form of parasitism, observed in certain organisms that use others to transport themselves, is the concept that MaNiDa seek to convey in their music.

This idea is inspired by the zoological term “Foreṡìa”, hence the name of the album.

“Foreṡìa” conveys profound emotions through sound, transporting listeners on a oneiric journey into fantasy.

The music is strongly influenced by three sources: modern jazz, classical counterpoint and the suite form. Despite their distinct characteristics, these elements merge organically within the compositions, creating an ever-changing sound landscape.
Foreṡìa was released on April 5, 2024, under the Norwegian label AMP Music & Records.
